Silver Lake is a funky Eastside Los Angeles neighborhood known as LA’s epicenter of hipster culture. The neighborhood was named for the scenic Silver Lake Reservoir at its center. Silver Lake has a hilly topography traversed by dozens of colorful Insta-worthy staircases.

Silver Lake Reservoir
features a scenic 2.2-mile trail loop running around the perimeter of Los Angeles’ largest freshwater preserve. The reservoir is the neighborhood’s main outdoor recreation area, with facilities including a dog park, basketball court, and the 2.5-acre greenspace of Silver Lake Meadow
