Silver Lake is a foodie haven featuring some of Los Angeles’ hippest eateries. Sqirl is a hip café serving an eclectic menu of globally-influenced breakfast and lunch dishes and homemade jams. Night + Market has won a loyal following with its combination of authentic Thai street food and contemporary Californian creativity. Night + Market’s complex and flavorful cuisine has earned multiple James Beard Award nominations and rave reviews in publications such as Zagat. Things to Do

Silver Lake Reservoir features a scenic 2.2-mile trail loop running around the perimeter of Los Angeles’ largest freshwater preserve. The reservoir is the neighborhood’s main outdoor recreation area, with facilities including a dog park, basketball court, and the 2.5-acre greenspace of Silver Lake Meadow. The brightly decorated Micheltorena Stairs has been described as the most Instagrammed staircase in Los Angeles. The Micheltorena Stairs are one of several such colorful stairways in Silver Lake.
