Welcome to Los Feliz
Hip Eastside neighborhood with walkable commercial areas.

Housing options range from historic mansions to charming duplexes and apartment buildings. The largest homes are typically found in the Los Feliz Hills section along the neighborhood’s northern slopes.
What to Love
People & Lifestyle
Los Feliz is an eclectic and diverse community. Long-term residents share the neighborhood with many involved in creative industries, and 44.5% of Los Feliz’s population was born outside the United States. Los Feliz has had a big influence on neighboring Hollywood. Walt Disney was living in the neighborhood when he created Mickey Mouse. Disney then modeled Disneyland’s Buena Vista Street after Los Feliz as it looked in the 1920s and ‘30s. There is a local feel to the neighborhood’s business districts with cozy cafes, unique boutiques, and plenty of trendy spots for food and drinks.
Dining, Entertainment & Shopping
Los Feliz has several walkable commercial areas lined with independent shops and neighborhood restaurants. Hollywood Boulevard forms the neighborhood’s curving southern boundary with dining highlights including the flavorful Mediterranean and Middle Eastern fare at
Kismet and some of LA’s finest Tex-Mex at
HomeState. Hillhurst Avenue has Los Feliz’s longest stretch of restaurants, coffee shops, bars, and retailers.
Little Dom’s is a lively neighborhood bistro serving an Italian-American menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Try the blueberry and ricotta pancakes at breakfast or stop by on a Monday evening to enjoy a special three-course supper.
Trattoria Farfalla offers a classic Italian dining experience, pairing authentic cuisine with a fantastic selection of imported wines. Housed within two plant-covered 19th-century bungalows,
Alcove is a local favorite serving craft beverages and scrumptious pastries. Retailers on Hillhurst Avenue include trendy womenswear boutique
Carol Young. Vermont Avenue offers many more great dining choices, including vibrant Parisian boulangerie
Figaro Bistrot. Independent retailers lining Vermont Avenue include literary hotspot
Skylight Books, bohemian design store
Otherwild, and stylish vintage clothing store
Squaresville.
